New playground equipment for Big Steps Educare

Big Steps Educare in Waikouaiti were really pleased when the Otago Community Trust stepped in to help their fundraising efforts.
The early childhood centre had been raising money for several years for a playground upgrade, and the Trust's donation meant they were able to purchase fun climbing boxes and much-needed shade sails for the redevelopment. The result, appreciated by the 50 children and their families who attend from the wider Waikouaiti area, is a really nice playground, which includes bridges and swings, turf matting, a tunnel house and a much-loved sandpit.
