New Addition to the Bob Lee Hut

The Bob Lee Hut has historically used a long drop toilet that sadly needed to be retired. The new composting toilets now meet current environmental standards and are a welcomed essential for the Snow Farm. With a second Hut located in the Hanging Valley, the Snow Farm continues to be a welcome retreat for recreational and sporting users.
The Snow Farm operates huts on the reserve to enable schools, universities, families and other groups to have a base for their alpine and snow related activities.
The Otago Community Trust assisted with the purchase of the Snow Farm reserve in 2011.
