Jemma Adams

Chief Executive

Jemma was appointed Otago Community Trust’s Chief Executive in 2023. Prior to joining the Otago Community Trust, Jemma was the General Manager of Dunedin City Holdings Ltd a role which encompassed strategic planning, stakeholder relationships, monitoring subsidiary and associate companies, and general corporate management.

Jemma previously held senior managerial roles at PriceWaterhouse Coopers and at Parliament. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and German, and a post graduate diploma in Business & Administration.

Jemma has been involved with several community organisations while growing up and living in Dunedin, particularly in the performing arts. Jemma is mum to two school-aged children and loves being part of the Dunedin community. As a former president of the Dunedin Repertory Society / Playhouse Theatre, she still enjoys helping with the school holiday productions at any chance she gets.  

Jemma is proud to be part of the Otago Community Trust and acknowledges the significant role the Trust has played in Otago over the last three decades and looks forward to continuing this tradition and supporting more impactful change for Otago in the future.
