The Trustpower National Community Awards are the highlight of the Community Awards calendar, bringing together 25 regional Community Award winners to inspire and to be inspired - and, of course, to vie for the title of Trustpower National Community Award Supreme Winner.

The Otago Community Trust believes that we have some wonderful voluntary groups and or organisations across Otago - so let’s celebrate and reward these volunteers through the Trustpower Community Awards programme. Don’t forget that there is a Trustpower Youth Community Spirit Award also, recognising and rewarding students for their selfless commitment to their school and the community.

The Trustpower Community Awards are run in 24 regions around New Zealand. For Otago the Awards closing dates are summarized below:

  • Dunedin – Be in Quick Closing Date is 11th March 2016
  • Central Otago - Closing Date is 29 March 2016
  • Waitaki - Closing Date is 30 May 2016
  • Clutha - Closing Date is 29 July 2016
