Entertaining Roxburgh Since 1887

The Otago Community Trust is assisting the Roxburgh Entertainment Centre, established in 1887 and thought to be one of the longest running purpose-built cinemas world-wide.

Changes from 35 mm film to digital last year has forced the centre to invest in new digital project equipment, the Otago Community Trust meeting the $18,000 shortfall to allow weekly movies to again be shown in Roxburgh.
