New Name, New Logo, Same Service

  • 01-Dec-08

We are changing our name and updating our logo as we look back over our 20 year history.

Close to $100 million has been donated to many hundreds of Otago organisations since the Trust was established in 1988.

We currently donate $6 to $7 million annually, which is earned from our very significant investment portfolio which was established when the Trust sold its shares in Trust Bank to Westpac in the mid 1990s.

From Moana Pool, the Otago Museum and the Otago Hospice, to the many early childhood centres and regional festivals, our input has made a significant difference to the lives of Otago people over the last two decades.

To reflect this value to the community, a new name and look has been developed, one which encapsulates our continued role in the growth of the whole region.

The name has been simplified to the Otago Community Trust, and the new logo is a more contemporary version which reflects Otago people working together for regional progress.
