Lawrence-Waitahuna Presbyterian Church Extension Complete

The opening of the refurbished Lawrence-Waitahuna Church building took place mid October, a number of staff and trustees took the opportunity to attend the opening and were suitably impressed with the new building extension. Otago Community Trust awarded a $80,000 grant to the church in July last year to assist with the cost of renovating and extending the church facilities.

Now complete, Pam Homer one of the Project Coordinators highlights that "the project has allowed the church to cater for the larger numbers of people in all programmes especially 'Mainly Music', kids time and the youth group. It also has meant that the Church can provide more adequate hospitality with increased kitchen facilities and improved toilets. We are really thrilled with the improvements".
