Funding Support for Productions, Events & Festivals

  • Announcements

The Otago Community Trust receives many applications annually for donations toward productions, festivals and events occurring within the region.  All applications that come to the Trust are assessed through a comprehensive process which takes at least eight weeks to complete, depending on the Trustees’ meeting schedule, staff work load and the time of the year.

As the planning for most productions, festivals and events happens many months in advance the Trust has introduced a policy that requires any organisation applying to us for funding assistance towards a production, festival or event to apply to us no later than three months prior to the commencement date or opening.  Applications received later than this may not be considered.

If organisers have not been able to finalise all of their details three months prior to the commencement date or opening then we ask that you still submit your application but inform us when the missing information will be available.

If you have any questions or concerns please make contact with our Donations Manager, 0800 10 12 40
