Hannah recently moved to Waitati in the Blueskin Bay area from the UK and was approached to help with the Dunedin Mid Winter Carnival. Hannah is a talented musician and in the months leading up to the carnival she runs a free drumming workshop for local young people at Warrington school.

Jo Torrance was following her passion for basketball when she started as a volunteer coach for Basketball Otago more than 25 years ago. She had been involved in the sport from a young age as a player and wanted to help give back in some way to the sport.
